The range of wines, as well as the value, is incredible as we tour the earthy and animalistic styles of The Rhône, the depth and purity of Provence, or the sheer power mixed with grace of Languedoc Roussillon. Each location produces a diverse selection of varieties and styles to thrill any palate. T he 2015 vintage of Châteauneuf-du-Pape has been receiving a massive amount of acclaim across every media outlet. We've never seen a vintage from this region that has received the seal of approval from the three big wine writers for the South of France. Jeb Dunnuck, Josh Raynolds, and James Molesworth all agree—and we say that it's about time. In 2015, Châteauneuf-du-Pape enjoyed a long and warm growing season with an early budbreak, extended periods of ideal weather, and the ability for producers to harvest at their leisure. What's more, the mix of warm days and cool nights leading up to harvest added refreshing acidity to the finished wines that created the perfect balance of ripeness and energy. The result was a vintage that was equally successful across the entire region, producing stellar wines at every price point. Châteauneuf-du-Pape lovers rejoice; this is a vintage to go deep on. ✦
