b oth the left bank and the right, both m erlot-based and Cabernet s auvignon, the wines are simply stunning. 2005 was a drought year, where all villages throughout the commune turned out consistently great wines. i t was also a time when superior attention was placed on the vineyards, which combined with the blessings of m other n ature created fruit of unbelievable quality and depth. t o this day 2005 is looked upon as one of the greatest, and most classic vintages of the last 50 years.
