These 100 year-old vines have dug deep roots into the granite soils of the vineyards Gréffieux, as well as Bessards and Méal, two of the most prestigious locations on the hill. a h er M i T age l egacy: o ver 100 y ears in T he Making v ery little has changed throughout the generations, as the vines are tended by hand and the grapes are still crushed by foot. This approach continues in the cellar with full cluster fermentation and long aging in large neutral wood. The results are a selection of Hermitage that are like a glimpse back to another time. They showcase the purity of Syrah and the black earth from which these vines pull their nutrients. In the cellar, they are some of the longest-lived and powerful wines of their type, with layers of nuance and depth building over time.
