Bringing Philippe Brun into the fold was key in rebuilding his brand, along with working to grow the Domaine, while waiting for long-term contracts on his family's holdings to end. Today, Bruno has regained use of many of these top parcels, and he is producing one of the most diverse, true-to-terroir portfolios available. It's a lineup that spans the Côte de Nuits, and into Marsannay, where the winery is located. ✦ The popularity of some producers waxes and wanes along with the current tastes of consumers, but one Domaine that has managed to produce a consistently excellent portfolio of honest Burgundy is Bruno Clair.
