These vines had been planted as far back as 1932 in one vineyard and 1955 in another, inspiring Piero to produce a selection of Pinot Noir, each one a pure translation of soil, to vine, to bottle. It wasn't long before the world took note, and the brand began to win praise from critics and interest throughout the wine world–interest from the likes of Jean- m arc Roulot in Burgundy. This interest grew into a collaboration and partnership, which has resulted in the Chacra m ainque Chardonnay.
